Financial Support

PART 1: Though there are many ways to support my mission year, financial assistance is a significant part of this experience. I do not have to do official fundraising for my Cap Haitien placement, as I did with the YASC placement, but I am accepting donations that will help offset living and work expenses. 

Donations can be made by check written to Trinity Episcopal Church in Asheville, NC, who will be collecting donations on my behalf to send to the mission personnel office in New York. Their address is 60 Church St. Asheville, NC 28801. Please include Volunteer in Mission in the memo line, and do NOT include my name.

Prayer and communication

Keep in touch! Please stay in contact with me by sending prayers my way, following my blog, or communicating by email. (Direct mail is not an option.)

Talk about this experience with others! Share what you hear on my blog, open discussions with family and friends. Allow this to become a part of your life, your devotions, and your exposure to our wonderful world. As my life is being transformed by God's work, you may encounter a similar experience. Mix-tapes 

I really enjoy music, and I often use it to center myself and refocus my mind. It's also a great way to remind myself of the wonderful support that I have from family and friends. 

So, if you want to create a mix-tape (CD or files on a flash drive) for me I would greatly appreciate it!
